Q: Do I need to be a hunter to stay at Heartland Lodge?
A: No. The lodge is open all year. Many guests enjoy the lodge during nonhunting
months. Women also enjoy the lodge atmosphere.
Q: Can the lodge be privately booked?
A: Yes, an entire lodge can be privately booked.
Q: Are single guests welcome?
A: Yes. Many single guests come to Heartland to relax and recharge their batteries.
Q: What does the meals and limited activities package include?
A: This package includes your dinner meal upon arrival, a scenic one hour hay-ride,
bonfire with marshmallows and smores, popcorn, soda, overnight stay, brunch, and
access to all of our property.
Q: What does the nonmeal package include?
A: This package only includes overnight accomodations and access to our property.
Q: What dates are you open for B & B?
A: January - September we are open for B & B guests.
Q: What is there to do at the lodge?
A: One of the nicest activities is doing nothing at all! Enjoy relaxing on our porches,
in front of the fireplace, or around the bonfire. No phones, no traffic, just you
enjoying the outdoors. If you are looking for a little more adventure, you can visit

Q: Can I bring my own ATV?
A: Yes. This has become very popular with our guests. There is no extra charge when
staying in the lodge.
Q: How many people can your resort accommodate?
A: The main lodge has 28 beds in 13 rooms. The new lodge has 7 luxury suites. These
rooms can accommodate 2-4 guests. There are 20 rooms total that can comfortably
accommodate 40 guests. We host many groups that are small 2-10 guests and we have
hosted events as large as 600 guests. Our flexibility is what makes us unique. We
can cater to almost any size or group. Please call one of our conference specialists
to help you with your next retreat.
Q: Can the lodge be privately booked?
A: Yes. If you book 10 rooms or more you can have the entire lodge to yourself.
We call this a Lodge Buyout. This is very popular. You have our entire staff's attention
on your group. This also allows you to break out into other areas of the lodge to
hold meetings.
Q: How large is your conference room?
A: Our conference room will accommodate 16 people. When the there is a Lodge Buyout
many of our guests use the recreational area to host their meetings. This area can
accommodate up to 40 guests.
Q: What types of companies/organizations use the lodge?
A: We have hosted the CEO and board of directors for some of the largest fortune
500 companies in the world. We also have many nonprofit organizations along with
small businesses. No company is too small or too large to take advantage of staying
at Harpole's Heartland Lodge in Illinois. Our flexibility is what makes our property
so unique. We have over 100 companies and organizations that are a part of our extended
family.
Q: Can we add additional meals?
A: Yes. Our packages include the evening and breakfast meals. Lunch can be added
for $15.
Q: Our nonprofit organization has a limited budget. Can you work with us?
A: Yes. We have many nonprofit groups use the lodge every year. We have several
creative ways that can help save you money. For example: Our non-meal rate is only
$32.50 for each person (double occupancy). You can bring your own hotdogs and have
a cookout around the bonfire! You will not find a better facility at a lower price.
