There are seven unique suites and rooms available at the Sunset Valley Lodge. All of the rooms feature an ultra-comfy, triple-sheeted bed and have been furnished with hand-made Old Hickory furniture. Five of these rooms, including the Grand Suite and All About the View Suite, offer an amazing view of the sunset over the Mississippi River bluffs.
The private bath of The Grand Suite features a large two-person shower and sauna while three of the suites feature private Whirlpools, all with the same amazing view of the river valley! This lodge is a perfect retreat location! It offers complete seclusion, a jaw dropping view from the back porch with large lounge areas.
The view from the expansive rear deck as the sun sets over the horizon of the Illinois and Missouri hills is simply breathtaking. This 10,180 square foot luxury cabin getaway features seven suites and rooms. Once inside, you will NOT want to leave. Sunset Valley sits on its own 52 secluded acres that adjoins our 1,200 acres and is located less than one mile from the main resort location.
As you stroll up the walkway to the front of this romantic, secluded lodge, the massive hand-carved elk door will impress you even before taking a step inside. Once inside, the spacious Great Room with large stone fireplace and comfy furniture will certainly become a gathering place that everyone in your group will enjoy. A wall of glass windows and doors that leads onto the rear deck provides amazing views from anywhere in the Great Room. Connected to the Great Room is a fully equipped kitchen for your enjoyment. On the lower level, the Recreation Room features a handmade bar with a marble-top back bar along with a pool table, shuffleboard, air hockey table, card/game table, electronic dart board and a large projector television and screen…all for your enjoyment. Direct access from the recreation room to the outside patio will allow you to enjoy the fresh air while watching the sun set on the horizon. This cabin has two sets of cornhole boards, providing a fun entertainment option for you and your guests, no matter the age! Unwind and have a great time with this classic game right at your doorstep! This luxury lodge also features its very own wine cellar with a vintage, one-of-a-kind cellar door.
