June 22nd-24th, 2018--It felt like home. Loved the way simple pleasures were anticipated! Games, books, videos, popcorn, coffee.  Landscaping was  beautiful! We travel to Europe, in the US, and are from Illinois, so awesome to experience something in our own "backyard" that is just breath taking as far away places.   So relaxed, welcoming, and genuine in hospitality.

April 26th-28th, 2018--In the 21 years we have been guests at Harpole's Heartland Lodge, we have never been disappointed. We have been there for upland game hunting and for bed and breakfast.  Gary, Wanda, and staff have always been so welcoming. The facilities are very comfortable and beautiful and the meals are delicious!

April 6th-8th, 2018--We had the most amazing visit to your property!! We were celebrating our anniversary and everything from check-in to check-out was awesome! Thank you for a great time and see you in September!

March 23rd-25th, 2018--What a beautiful place with an awesome staff! We had such an amazing time! Our room was the Best!  Awesome location! The ATV paths were so much fun, we could have stayed and "played" for days! Thank you again for everything! WE WILL BE BACK!

February 19th-21st, 2018--We have stayed at Heartland Lodge probably 14-15 times and we have never had anything but a great time there. The staff is the greatest. They even changed a tire that went bad on my truck in February in the snow!  I have always enjoyed our stays.

March 17th-18th, 2018--This place is wonderful! Had the best time four wheeling and sporting clays.  Food was wonderful and the grounds are beautiful.

January 26th-28th, 2018--I just loved my stay at Heartland. It was just gorgeous.  The food was amazing, all the way down to the bread. Ms. Wanda is such a cute and sweet lady.  The gentlemen teaching the gun shooting are very patient and a lot of fun.

February 25th, 2018--I absolutely love the lodge experience! So relaxing and peaceful. Food was so delicious. Have already recommended to friends and family. I plan on coming back one day!

February 2nd-4th--This was a surprise for my 60th Birthday--don't know how he pulled it off! EVERYONE loved the lodge, the tails for four wheeling, the horses, the food. Was not disappointed, HIGHLY recommend you!

February 16th-18th--Beautiful accommodations, friendly staff, incredible-AMAZING food. We enjoyed meeting new people at dinner and brunch. If you stay here its a must to purchase the meals! My husband and I couldn't wait for the dinner bell to ring!! Ms. Wanda was very gracious and kind as well!

February 16th-18th, 2018--This was our first visit here and we absolutely loved it!!! The lodge is beautiful and clean. Staff was so friendly and helpful.  The food was amazing. Ms. Wanda you are a great host and you truly treat your guests as family! Thank you for a great weekend!

We visited Heartland for the second consecutive year to rest and relax.  Our room was great: comfortable and clean! The meals are abundant and delicious.  Most importantly, the staff are each friendly and extremely helpful without being intrusive.  Back to meals: served elegantly without being intimidating.

October 25th-27th, 2017--Dan and I spent our 60th anniversary at your lodge.  It exceeded all our expectations!! We feel we will never be able to top this anniversary celebration!! We've posted all over Facebook about our experience there and have highly recommended your lodge to all our friends and family.  We definitely plan to go back to your lodge again and maybe bring family with us! Thanks for making our anniversary the best yest! Very rustic and luxurious!

October 22nd-23rd, 2017--This was our first time staying here and we chose to do so for our one-year anniversary! We are local (Mt. Sterling, IL) and had heard a lot about the lodge.  Actually, Tyler and his groomsman shot clays at your facility for his bachelor party one year ago.  We only stayed one night but we were so impressed by the accommodations and meals. We cant wait to come back and hopefully stay longer!

October 23rd-25th, 2017--We came for a visit to celebrate our 20th anniversary and this visit was so much more than we could have imagined! Our room was amazing--so many details (mini fridge, warm robes)--the Whirlpool tub, and fireplace in front of the bed. Perfect! The food was spectacular and everyone was so pleasant from the moment we arrived until our visit ended.  We've been sharing our experience with everyone!

October 6th-9th, 2017--We went there to ride the trails and enjoy the cabins which exceeded everything we thought it would be. Very amazing place and great staff which were very helpful and courteous.  We are big on the UTV riding and will be coming back as soon as we can.  Thank you very much for the amazing time.

September 28th-29th, 2017--Always a fantastic experience at Harpole's Heartland Lodge!  We have been with our kids, with grandparents, and just on our own.  Each time it is fantastic! Next time, I think we will try for a longer stay to sit and relax more.  We enjoy the rustic personal, family, friendly experience and feel.  Our favorite getaway close to home! Thank you!

October 14th-15th, 2017--We were so impressed with the friendly atmosphere and prayer before meals.  If heaven was a lodge--this might be it.

September 8th-9th, 2017--One of a kind in Illinois. Greatest experience for relaxing and riding ATV's.  Will definately be at least a annual trip.

September 16th-18th, 2017--We had a great stay.  It was an awesome experience all around.  The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful.  Room and lodge is clean.  My husband and I had such a great time riding. The lodges are beautiful.  The environment is literally a breath of fresh air.  Other guests were also friendly.  This place has such a loving and homey feel to it.  I look forward to spending the rest of our anniversaries here.

September 15th-17th, 2017--This is an amazing facility--Great place to go to get away from the craziness of life.  We are such busy people--we didn't have to think or even worry about anything--Loved it! Thank you

September 8th-10th, 2017--We had a wonderful time. The food, especially the dinner (roast beef), was amazing.  The lodge itself was beautiful and very homey.  The ATV trails were awesome. My boyfriend had a blast on them.  The hayride after dinner was beautiful and perfect to end the night.  Also, the kittens were a wonderful surprise! We loved being able to play with kittens every time we walked out our door!

September 2nd-3rd, 2017--Your hospitality is far and away beyond any inn or B&B.  Our grandchildren absolutely LOVED our room and the hayride had them closer to one another and hugging the whole time!  It is a magical experience beyond a dream to stay at your magnificent lodge.  Its beauty and upscale rustic setting and decor draws you in..but the staff takes the experience over the moon! Thank you from our hearts for, once again, giving us a dream memory!

August 30th-31st, 2017--Our whole experience at Harpole's Heartland Lodge was exceptional!  We stayed in the Labrador Room which has a hot tub/fireplace.  It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! The staff and meals exceeded our expectations!

August 4th-6th, 2017--Our stay was fabulous! The food was amazing! I have never stayed anywhere, with such amazing food! The staff were all very friendly! Ms. Wanda made us feel at home! Our room and the lodge we stayed in was awesome! It was so comfortable and everything made you fee like you were at home! The ATV trails were a lot of fun! We will definitely be back!

July 13th-15th, 2017--Ms. Wanda and all the staff were truly the most genuine, caring, thoughtful, and service minded folks.  Ms. Wanda is dedicated to the enjoyment of her guests and she is very knowledgeable of every aspect of Heartland.  The best surprise was the messages of faith hung on the walls and giving God thank before every meal.

July 9th-12th, 2017--Heartland Lodge was a great country gem! The beautiful scenery, rustic feel, and wonderful staff was well worth the trip!  We highly recommend the lodge and the activities. The food was amazing too!

July 7th-9th, 2017--The property is just gorgeous. The grounds are very well maintained and the entire place is spotless! I’ve been in the hospitality business for 30 years so I’m very particular on cleanliness & customer service and you guys nailed it! And the food…OMG! Amazing! Ms. Wanda makes the place. All of the staff were great (Larry, Terry, Hannah) & all the people serving meals. I wish you many years of success.

July 7th-9th, 2017--I attended the girls weekend with friends and had the best time. We all commented repeatedly on how friendly & courteous everyone was. Accommodations were beautiful, food was incredible and activities were abundant. Although only 90 minutes from home I felt transported. You really do have a piece of heaven on earth. I can’t wait to bring my husband! Thanks for Sharing. P.S. Ms Wanda is a gem.
