What a wonderful place. The food was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive.  We loved the home style atmosphere in every way from taking our shoes off at the door to blessing at the meal.  The entire experience exceeded all our expectations!

Beautiful weekend getaway spot. Top notch rooms, great view. Meal package was worth every penny. Very friendly staff. We will be back.

We found out about the lodge by chance while on our honeymoon and decided to visit in person for more information.  We were greeted by Wanda who answered our questions. Her warm and friendly personality made it impossible to resist staying.  We stayed in the beautiful Sunset View Suite which was a perfect setting for our honeymoon getaway.  Every aspect of our stay was perfect.  The staff was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, eager to assist us with anything we needed. There were plenty of exciting activities to participate in.  The meals were absolutely delicious.  The only thing we didn't like was having to leave. We definitely will be coming to stay once again.

The accommodations, staff, food-everything are amazing.  We did not feel like we were staying at an "inn" or "lodge" - those words are too commercial and clinical ways of describing a place to spend the night. Instead we felt like we were staying in a wonderful and generous person's home! Thank you for sharing your home with us and letting two stressed out and busy people relax and recharge!

Heartland is amazing!  We got to enjoy horseback riding, ATV's, and the carriage ride.  All the staff were beyond friendly.  The whole experience was very welcoming.  We will be back!

Very nice experience--Great food served on time. Rode the trails on our ATV, the trails were in good shape. The Hayride was wonderful. Rooms were clean and welcoming. Food was to die for-tables were set beautifully. Everyone was so nice and welcoming--Good time had by all.

We found the lodge by chance on the internet, so we knew nothing about it.  We were blown away by this "diamond in a rough". The lodges are stunning and the service is outstanding.  The minute my wife and I walked into our lodge, we wanted to bring our friends and family here someday.

I fly from Scottsdale, AZ to Atlanta, GA to meet up with my brother Jim and drive up from GA.-13 1/2 hour drive but it is "worth" it!  Wanda, Terry, and the whole staff make for a wonderful experience.  Keep up the great work Heartland!!!

This was my 1st year at the Girl's Weekend Getaway. My friends had told me how fun it was and how beautiful the lodges and scenery were, but until you experience it yourself-it is indescribable! The food and service is amazing! I am already counting the days until next years! Ms. Wanda is a sweetheart!

We had a wonderful experience.  The food was some of the best we'd ever had. It was truly a feast! Great people to talk to and grounds were beautiful.  Ms. Harpole was a hoot and we enjoyed talking with her. Very neat lady.  We didn't have time to try out the 4-wheeling but we'll save that for next time.

Truly relaxing and enjoyable stay!  Everyone we met made us feel comfortable and welcome.  Scrumptious meal and abundant portions.  Loved the sit down experience and visiting with other guests.  Quiet and serene, just a beautiful atmosphere.  Thanks for a lovely getaway.  Will recommend a stay to family and friends. Plan to return again.

The Wood duck Box room was cozy and super clean.  The fireplace was warm and inviting. The bed was big and comfortable. Staff was awesome. I loved the prayer before breakfast and Christian values!  The food was awesome, it was filling and family style, so you could eat as much as you wanted with dessert.  I recommend the meal package and triple play.  Very accommodating.  We would have loved to stay another night! You will see us back SOON!

Everyone was nice and friendly. You sure can feel the love from the people that work here.  It was so nice and relaxing, I will be back next year.

We had such a wonderful time at the lodge. The room and surrounding area were breathtaking.  The staff was absolutely wonderful as well and I can honestly say that we will be staying at the lodge whenever we need a getaway.  It was perfect! Thank you for providing our county with such an amazing establishment and for giving us everlasting memories.

There are no words to explain how good the food is, how nice the staff is, and how comfortable the room is.  We felt like we were at home. Your staff are so accommodating, down to earth, and very professional. We can't wait to come back.  The trails are a blast! If you get the food package you do not need to bring much food, just light snacks.

What a wonderful stay!  Our children gave us a gift certificate for Christmas and wasn't sure what to expect, especially during the drive to the Lodge-0ut in the boonies. Was greatly surprised, the Lodge was beautiful, our suite, Wood Duck Box was extremely nice and very spacious with a cozy fireplace and deck sitting.  Can't say enough good things about our meals, superb, beyond our expectations, delicious! Ms. Wanda and staff are so friendly and accommodating.  This was a wonderful romantic getaway for us with a little side trip to Hannibal.  Thanks for the extraordinary stay. We'll be back!

Heartland Lodge is an exceptional retreat. The activities offered, the food, the decor, the staff, and the rooms are all awesome.  The scenery/setting is wonderful too!

Our stay at Heartland Lodge was amazing.  We will return.  We came for a one night getaway to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary.  We were upgraded to the Grand View Suite, the view was wonderful, the room was immaculate.  The entire lodge was beautiful and clean.

We had an incredible!! Time!! Everyone was super friendly!  Extremely clean! The food was unbelievably wonderful! ! We will be back! Thanks again for a great stay!! I even got teary eyed when I had to leave!

I have to say this by far is one of the best places we have ever stayed at.  I would not have one complaint about anything.  It was perfect.  We will be coming back in the future.  Thank you so much for the hospitality, friendliness, and much love and care.

This was the perfect getaway for us and we had a blast.  I loved that we were able to bring our own ATV. Everyone was so nice and friendly.  We overslept and missed breakfast, when we checked out they were so nice about it and had saved our food for us, putting it in to-go containers. The lodge and room were a dream come true.  My only complaint is that we didn't have enough time there. We will be back and can't wait!

Ms. Wanda-You made our very first visit to Heartland Lodge a memory that we will never forget and definitely will return to make more. Love-Love-Love this place, Ms. Wanda, and all of the staff. See you soon :)
